George Nelson, famous as a mid-century designer, became the design director of Herman Miller after his first modular storage system "Storage Wall," published in LIFE magazine in 1945.
He also discovered talents like Charles & Ray Eames and Alexander Girard.
It is no exaggeration to say that postwar modern design began with storage.
Then, 80 years later in 2025, NIGO, greatly influenced by mid-century design, created a huge storage space that could be called a modern "Storage Wall" by stacking his long-used modular furniture in a U-shape on three sides, high-rise.
