Casa BRUTUS Special Exhibition "Takashi Murakami and Murakami House" (10/18–25)

Welcoming the internationally active artist Takashi Murakami, we will exhibit "Murakami House" instead of "Magazine House" on the Ginza Sony Park floor. What kind of house will the famous Takashi Murakami create!? The brother unit MM Brothers, consisting of Takashi Murakami and Ryuji Murakami (Robert Akiyama), will also participate! This exhibition is linked to the feature "Takashi Murakami and Murakami House" in the October 9 issue of Casa BRUTUS.

■Event Details:
by Takashi Murakami is an assembly-type mobile architecture inspired by the prefab houses of architect Jean Prouvé, who greatly influenced 20th-century architecture and industrial design. The design is handled by VUILD, an architectural startup pioneering next-generation architectural design using digital fabrication technology, a modern prefab.
The shape of is a three-dimensional version of the Magazine House logo developed into an actual house. Also, with MAGAZINE HOUSE and MURAKAMI HOUSE = MM, the brother unit MM Brothers, consisting of contemporary artist Takashi Murakami and past artist Ryuji Murakami (Robert Akiyama Ryuuji), participate. Two were created: Takashi Murakami's house and Ryuji Murakami's house. Additionally, the , polygonized with VUILD's design of Murakami's signature "flower," also appears.
Furthermore, over 120 prints of ukiyo-e works by Takashi Murakami, a new development in Japanese art, and an homage to Hiroshige Utagawa's 'Famous Views of Edo' never before shown in Japan, will be exhibited all at once!

■Precautions When Purchasing Tickets:
Please read the following precautions carefully and purchase tickets after understanding them.

・One ticket is required per person.
However, children of elementary school age or younger can enter free of charge only when accompanied by a ticket purchaser.
・Each person can purchase up to 5 tickets.
・Same-day tickets will also be issued for each time slot. Even if the reserved sales are full, you can enter if same-day tickets are available, so please purchase them on the 3rd floor. (Please understand that same-day ticket customers may have to wait during busy times.)
・You can cancel your reservation yourself within 30 minutes after ordering. Please note that cancellations are generally not possible after 30 minutes.
・The date and time of reserved tickets cannot be changed.
・Reserved tickets will be displayed on My Page. Please bring a device such as a smartphone or tablet that can display this site on the day.
At the reception on the day, please present your My Page for admission processing, so do not press the button to use the ticket until then. Please note that admission may be refused with a used ticket.
・Resale of this ticket is prohibited. Please understand in advance that we take no responsibility for any troubles related to tickets purchased fraudulently.

■About Goods Sales
On the day of your visit only, various goods will be sold at the venue to those entering this exhibition. When purchasing goods, you will need to present your ticket on My Page.
For same-day tickets, please present the receipt given at the reception, so be sure not to lose it.

Tickets for “Murakami House” Exhibition sold on this website can only be purchased in Japan, and are not available for purchase from overseas.

 Tickets are also available on the day of your visit at the venue.
