Venue: Ginza Sony Park (5-3-1 Ginza, Chuo-ku, Tokyo 4F)

(Event Overview)
The POPEYE editorial department presents "City Boy Yose," inviting three familiar faces from the magazine POPEYE: Master Ryūtei Kochiraku, Mr. Shunpūtei Shōyō, and Mr. Katsura Kunoichi, to hold a rakugo performance.

(Event Details)
The townspeople of Edo appearing in rakugo skillfully navigate the harsh world with their inherent charm and witty, sophisticated exchanges. Their "laid-back" way of life somewhat overlaps with the image of city boys we envision.
Master Kochiraku is a genuine city boy raised in Daikanyama. Mr. Shōyō is the rakugo world's most stylish man, who also appeared in a vintage clothing feature. And Mr. Kunoichi is a culture boy who has performed as a DJ at Fuji Rock.
So, what kind of stories will unfold when these three gather? Please enjoy this one-night-only "Encounter of Rakugo and City Boys" that can only be experienced here.
