"Mariko Salon," looking back on the culture of the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras with Mariko Hayashi, who has been serializing the signature essay "Beauty Introduction" in anan for 30 years.
Guests Yasushi Akimoto and Nameko Shinsan will join for a special talk event you can only hear here.
Each ticket includes Mariko Hayashi's latest book "Do You Understand? Beauty Introduction 23" (with Mariko Hayashi's autograph).

・Speaker Profiles
Mariko Hayashi
Writer. Born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1954. After working as a copywriter, she began her writing career. Her 1982 bestseller was "Let's Buy Runrun and Go Home." She won the Naoki Prize for "If I Make It to the Last Flight" and "To Kyoto," the Shibata Renzaburo Prize for "Renren Shiraren," and the Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Prize in 1998 for "Everyone's Secret." Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2018 and the Kikuchi Kan Prize in 2020. Since 2022, she has been the chairman of Nihon University.

Nameko Shinsan
Manga artist and columnist. Born in Tokyo in 1974, raised in Saitama Prefecture. Graduated from Musashino Art University Junior College, majoring in graphic design. Writes on a wide range of themes including human relationships, trends, the imperial family, overseas celebrities, spirituality, and the spiritual world. Author of "Spiritual Guide," "Praise of Girls' Schools," and "Otaku Files of the Edo Period," among others.

Yasushi Akimoto
Lyricist. Born in Tokyo in 1958. Visiting professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. Creator of many national hit songs such as "Like the Flow of the River" and "Fortune Cookie in Love." Also active in planning and supervising TV programs, planning and scripting TV dramas, planning and original work for films, directing operas, and writing and directing kabuki performances. Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2022.
