"Mariko Salon" looks back on Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa culture with Mariko Hayashi, who has serialized the signature essay "Beauty Introduction" in anan for 30 years.
With guest Yasushi Akimoto, a special talk event that can only be heard here will be held.
Each ticket includes Mariko Hayashi's latest book "Do You Understand? Beauty Introduction 23" (with Mariko Hayashi's autograph).

Mariko Hayashi
Writer. Born in Yamanashi Prefecture in 1954. After working as a copywriter, she began her writing career. Her 1982 bestseller "Let's Buy Runrun and Go Home" was a hit. She won the Naoki Prize for "If I Make It to the Last Flight" and "To Kyoto," the Shibata Renzaburo Prize for "Byakuren Renren," and the Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Prize in 1998 for "Everyone's Secret." Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2018 and the Kikuchi Kan Prize in 2020. Since 2022, she has been the chairman of Nihon University.
Yasushi Akimoto
Lyricist. Born in Tokyo in 1958. Visiting professor at Tokyo University of the Arts. Creator of many national hit songs such as "Like the Flow of the River" and "Fortune Cookie in Love." He is also active in planning and supervising TV programs, planning and writing TV dramas, planning and original work for films, directing operas, and writing and directing kabuki performances. Awarded the Medal with Purple Ribbon in 2022.
