NIGO®の海外初の大規模回顧展『NIGO: From Japan with Love』がロンドンのデザインミュージアムにて5月1日〜10月4日まで開催。群馬県前橋市の実家の部屋の再現や、1993年に原宿にオープンした伝説のショップ〈NOWHERE〉のファサード、最新の茶室的空間〈DROPHAUS〉まで設置され、展示物は700点以上。NIGO®の30年以上にわたるキャリアを一望できる内容となっています。

そこで『Casa BRUTUS』も2000年12月号のジャン・プルーヴェの記事から2026年1月号のうつわ特集まで、長年にわたって取材してきたNIGO®の総集編を英語版で刊行。アトリエ、ヴィンテージ家具、デニム、家、NOT A HOTEL、うつわ等々、NIGO®の空間やコレクションの変遷をまとめた『Casa BRUTUS By NIGO®』ENGLISH VERSIONが6月22日（月）に発売です！

To coincide with NIGO: From Japan with Love, a major retrospective of NIGO® currently on view at the Design Museum in London, an English-language compilation MOOK titled Casa BRUTUS By NIGO® will be published. The special edition comes with a rule-breaking reversible tote printed with the logos of four brands. On sale June 22 (Mon).

NIGO®’s first large-scale retrospective overseas, NIGO: From Japan with Love, will be held at the Design Museum in London from May 1 to October 4. The exhibition features more than 700 items, including a recreation of his childhood room in Maebashi, Gunma; the façade of the legendary Harajuku shop NOWHERE, which opened in 1993; and his latest tea house–like space, DROPHAUS. It offers a comprehensive overview of NIGO®’s career spanning over three decades.

In conjunction with the exhibition, Casa BRUTUS will publish an English-language compilation of its long-running coverage of NIGO®, spanning from the December 2000 issue featuring Jean Prouvé to the January 2026 ceramics special. Titled Casa BRUTUS By NIGO® ENGLISH VERSION, the volume traces the evolution of NIGO®’s spaces and collections—from his atelier and vintage furniture to denim, houses, NOT A HOTEL, and ceramics. On sale June 22 (Mon).

The special edition includes a limited-quantity original tote bag. This rule-breaking reversible design features the logos of four brands across its four sides: HUMAN MADE, where NIGO® serves as Creative Director; KENZO, where he is Artistic Director; NIKE, with which he has collaborated since 2024; and FAMIMA, set to open its flagship store this summer.
